Is it progression? Thanks for looking guys :)

That really is bad ass Mike.

Great work.

Mike, you could have this thread dedicated to your WIP and progress?

I think it looks fantastic.

Don, good idea!!!
Dan, i also post them over on KD forums. I figure the more exposure i can get, the more experienced minds i can get knowledge from :)

Why wouldn't you post here? Feel free to clog up the thread with as much great work as you can!

At first glance, I don't get the impression that the stripes are right. They look off somehow, but I can't put a reason to it. Maybe too small or too many.

The eyes, however, are smoking hot! I don't know that you could get them more realistic, both piercing and penetrating! It almost seems like the cat is boring into your soul.

The eyes are awesome. Very nice. I agree about the stripes. I think, from a design standpoint, there are tooany vertical elements and not enough horizontal elements and that throws off the balance. More emphasis on the brows and brow ridges and more definition to the brow/"forehead" of the cat. That area is the only one that seems less dimensional somehow.

Please don't stop posting here. Love what your doing! Those tiger eye's are off the hook. might be hard to beat this one. Again, please don't stop posting.

The stipes should have been horizontal instead of verical. Still very ncie work. Keep it up.

I say the verticle stripes are fine, that's how they often are on tigers. The thing that gets me and I suspect is the real reason everyone is commenting on the stripes, is the forehead and space above the focal point, the eyes, is much larger than the area below. It draws your eye up to it after focusing on the eyes. I think if it were more equally divided using the "rule of thirds" like in photography it would be a much better stand alone piece and not look like a work in progress. Unless it is a work in progress?

Very well done Mike!
