The knife is the newer version with the stainless steel lockbar insert and is essentially brand new (never used, carried, sharpened,etc.), no blemishes, centering, lock-up, detent, etc. all what you would expect with a brand new knife. I bought this knife from an authorized Spyderco dealer approximately 2 months ago (I paid $240.. ouch), but I want to take my collection in a different direction. Knife shipped in/with ALL original packaging, just like you ordered it new from a dealer yourself!
