I consider it my second, because even though I have finished a dozen or so from purchased blade blanks and have several previous stock removal blades started and scrapped, this will be only the second finished and put into service where I started from barstock.
My problem child blade is finally finished. After 3 separate salvage operations to fix major 'aw chitts' including drilling out rivets and replacing scales, and nearly having the blade thrown through my foot, here it is:

440C , HT with cryo bt TKS
Maroon linen micarta
Nickel silver rivets
600 grit hand rubbed finish + light buffing
Constructive comments welcomed. I know I could do more to improve the finish, but I was getting frustrated and decided it was good enough and I needed to move on. No one should have to hand rub a finish more than twice on a single blade!
I hope my wife likes it...
