See Why I Been Buyin' Them Three-Dotters?

I have a 3 dot from this guy as well, mine is absolutely n.i.b.with all paperwork/sheath/etc.I payed $79 shipping included.WOW,prices are goin' up!

I got in a little earlier than you......same thing, $56. I think an earlier one went even cheaper.....in the forties, I believe.

I think the first buyers were a bit put off because he has used the same pictures for all the Three-Dotters......didn't trust him. However, turned out to be quite real....just doesn't know much about knives.

He's apparently got some dedicated collectors onto him now and the stuff has gone too high for me to bid on anymore.

If you ain't gonna cut stuff with it...you want the box/paperwork.Even if you are a collector SOMEDAY it is likely to be sold and it brings a better price complete NIB..There are a lot of 'Hoards' that down thru the years will hit the market and this time it's 3 dots..

Two knives that ended in .37 would likely be the same bidder.....I think.

There have been a lot of newbie bidders on the auctions.....I haven't bothered to keep track of who's who.

Since he's selling a lot of "new old stock" and has used the same pictures for a lot of items.......no way to tell if it pops up for sale again later.

Like I said.......I got a good one early and cheap, but things sure are different now. All his knives are going way high.

It could be that he has some well-heeled collectors dogging his auctions, too. But.....

Let the bidder beware.

Nope, the winning bidder's bid is going to be determined by the second highest bidder since ebay automatically increases the bid by a set amount that varies with the selling price.

So in other words that wasn't even the winner's maximum bid.

Remember it takes atleast 2 people to drive an item price up. The high bidder could have bid a $100.00 more than the second bidder but he still got it for the mininum amount over the second bid. Anything over $100.00 is $2.50 I think untill it gets up to the next point and it goes to $5.00 bid incruments. I have had some good success lately with a Buck 121, a 103, and an 120.. Just need the 107 and 116 now.

Oh and I also want a 3 dot 112 finger groove bad, bad. NIB or in very good condition. My wife says I need them like I need another hole in my head. If she gets a new pair of shoes or a new dress she needs them, I just don't needs any more knives. We know who has the biggest closet don't we?

And she just wears out those shoes and throws them away......while you keep your knives pristine and watch their value increase year by year.

She has no idea what a good deal she's getting!

:D
