Well I have been here at BF for a bit now. and read a bit about these busse blades. I am interested, and would like to try one out. A question of two,, first, as i would like to make an informed purchase, and since you guys love e'm so much I thought i might play off your affinity for answers ;).

Is the very nice NMSFMO, an INFI blade, and are all Busse's INFI?

I havn't seen too many different ones. I think maybe 5 different Busse's, how many different ones are there? Is there a busse thread here, with photo's of the many(?) different ones? Or are they all pretty much heres my BM, no heres my BM, and here mine too, no look at my BF it prettier......?

Thanks in advance Gents.

There is a picture thread at the top of this forum. There are a lot of different variants and such. Some of the early Busse's were not Infi, the NMSFNO is.

If the guy with the questions can say so, this site was the best soruce. IMHO. thanks for all the replies.

So far. the NM SFNO, is still one i am looking for. Nice price too for the blade size.

the other is an AK-47, i was going to take on a stock removal project with another manufacturers tempered machete, thinking about saving my time and getting a busse model that closely resembles the one i thought i might make. (though the steel is a big upgrade eh?)

Thanks again.

Welcome to our madness! :D

The NMSFNO is a great all-around size knife. You may be able to pick up a bargain user if you haunt the Exchange, or buy one retail here:

The SARSquatch is just a little smaller, and thinner stock, but still quite capable. I recall one on the Exchange for below cost. (not mine)

The AK47 is certainly cool, but not very machete-like, and will run you ~ $900.

Good luck in your quest.
