Seeking the best ‘sounding’ titanium framelocks

I’m just the opposite. After talking with shane45-1911 shane45-1911 at length, I went ahead and paid my $200 Tax Stamp and paperwork application for my Archangel mini sound suppressor 2” hearing protection can. Simply screws onto the supplied threaded replacement glass breaker stud on mine. Now it makes a perfect Hollywood movie “pfffft” sound 👍

No problem.

I anxiously await your follow-on thread - "Seeking the best smelling knife."

😆 with all due, sir… it seems you await quite the excitement when the damn kids roll across your lawn and you get to shake your fist at them. But all love :)

What have we become :(
I’d wager a community with varied tastes? That’s just a wild guess tho

Why is a pleasing sound less valid than buying a knife because it looks pleasing?
Quite simply, there are gatekeepers & tastemakers in every forum and I’ve been to many! Just learn what you can from the old timers and gently troll the grumpy ones ;)

What kind of ammo ?

OP: while I'm more auditory than visual when learning, remembering and dreaming (my wife says I have a noise fetish :) ), I have a hard time picking the "best" sounding frame lock. Maybe my Hinderer Fulltrack.

It appears that everyone gets what kind of sound the OP is describing but I don't. Is it high pitch clicking sound or low pitch clunk sound?
Here’s the type of ‘ping’I’m after:

I’m not the biggest fan of the cormorant tho will buy one anyway. Surprised that this seems to be so obscure :D

-I lust after naturally aspirated V10s bc of their sound
-dudes spend thousands putting catback exhausts which have zero performance gain
-my 1911 gets way more love than my glocks bc of how satisfying the slide is
-Dirty talk is great

None of the above contributes to the performance of the respective categories but def adds to the UX for me.

H Hellasharp - gotcha. Well - that is not the kind of knife sound that I like. Actually I don't like any scraping sound when the blade is traveling - it should be as quiet and hydraulic as possible. I do like the blade locks in position with an authorative clunk sound.
