We use the spot and stalk method of duck hunting. So we find a high spot and glass the river. Here are some pics taken while glassing:

Yep, I concur. I love the New Mexico fall time, whether it be the mountainsides of golden, changing aspens or the Rio Grande River with its huge, yellow cottonwoods. Add to that fresh apples and freshly roasted green chile... :thumbup:

Damn it man.... I went to college at NMSU in Las Cruces, I still CRAVE green chiles! Why did you have to say that.........

Off to the freezer to defrost some Hatch Chiles and make a little Salsa!!!

Hahaha! Gotcha! :p Yeah, the green chile is one of my favorite features of this state :D They've proven that the capsaicin in chile is addictive. There's a reason you crave it... :eek: :D

Definite symptoms of green chili addiction happening here. Here's a pic of a green chili cheeseburger from the famous Owl Bar & Cafe in San Antonio, NM. This is a different kind of local color. Maybe it will help until you get your salsa made. ;)
