++++SOLD++++
Up for consideration is my Seiko “Save The Ocean” Turtle. I purchased this brand new about 2 months ago.
This was my first attempt at modding a watch and I feel that for the most part it turned out pretty good. I swapped the factory bezel out with a polished PVD coin edge bezel and dual time stealth ceramic bezel insert, both purchased from DLW Watches. Only issue is the bezel isn’t as smooth as it was before and feels a tad crunchy at times. I’m sure it’s an easy fix, however I don’t want to risk removing the new bezel as I scratched up the original bezel during the original removal. There are also a few scratches on the case beneath the bezel area which are hidden when the bezel is installed.
Aside from those few minor issues, I think the watch looks much better now! It reminds me a lot of the Seiko SBDC005, especially when light hits that beautiful blue and black contrasting dial!
