SOLD Hey all-
Have this nice re-built, serviced and modded Seiko 6309-7040 up for sale.
The details:
-Seiko 6309-7040 case and case back, in excellent condition. Looks to have been re-brushed and polished at some point, but there are no major dings or deep gouges anywhere. Very, very nice condition.
-Seiko 6306 hacking movement, serviced within the last six months by Ken Setser. Runs great, within a handful of seconds per day.
-Aftermarket bezel insert, hands, and Scubapro 450 dial, all re-lumed by Kent Parks at Everest Watchworks. Lume is a mixture of SuperLuminova C3 and C1, glows brightly and lasts all night.
-Flat sapphire crystal w/AR coating.
-New gaskets throughout.
Condition and Function:
Again, it looks excellent. Hard to rate vintage watches as compared to brand new ones, but this one's easily north of 90% cosmetically. Functionally, it works as it should. Keeps good time, the hacking function works properly, and the crown operates precisely; screws down with six turns. (3 full rotations.)
Pictures can be see HERE
Watch is currently on a nice 22mm soft, natural rubber strap with double push-button deployment I've had lying around for years and finally cut it to fit my 7 1/4" wrist. But it will also come with a lightly used Seiko Z-22, as well as a new Banda Z-22 look-alike that is much softer and flexible than the stock Z-22.
SOLD$300.00SOLD shipped USPS Priority in the U.S. but willing to ship elsewhere at buyer's expense. PayPal preferred, but absolutely no "eChecks". Not interested in any trades at this time, just need to sell to raise some funds for other expenses.
Drop me a note if you're interested, e-mail works best.SOLD
Thanks-
Scott
