I recently bought a Seki Cut Bob Lum Encounter, awesomew knife, but a bit too big. So,I got a hold of the small version, wich,I love the knife, but they blew it on the clip.It seems, they just stuck the same clip on the large version, right on the small version, check it out...

So,I contacted BladeForums own STR,and he worked his craftsmanship,to modify the knife, like it should be,I'm real happy with the outcome,Hat's off to you,STR!!

Wow! Funny how it looks better than I remembered it. Guess thats good.

I sent you an email and message asking about that Cover folder you have for sale.

Also, Mike you can see a small sample of some of my work from early years before I really knew what I was doing all the way to present day by clicking the link to my homepage in my profile. There are three albums in there I set up as small fractions of everything in some pic gallery formats. One is for what I have in the way of knives for sale currently and there is nothing in there except my fee schedule which can answer some of your questions too I guess. I just did a recent set of Ivory Micarta scales for someone's Emerson folder so I do work with it that. I just posted pics of it in the STRprojects album.

Thanks guys. Its always nice when the customer is happy..

From the first picture of the original clip, it looks like you'd have to remove the clip to get straight on access to the pivot screw. Not much thought seems to have been put into that by the manufacturer, which is surprising to me for a Seki knife.

The new clips looks good, STR is the man for knife mods.

Sweet knife... Boy they really missed the boat on the clip though..
Looks great after STR got done with it, Thats how it should have been from the factory..

When I opened the box up,and saw the clip Seki Cut put on it,I kinda had to laugh a bit, before getting a feeling of disgust.Since I had,and handled the larger knife previously,I knew where the pocket clip came from. And yes,the hole in it,the diameter so large, that you would have to take it off to get to the pivot screw, defeating the purpose of the hole. Also, look at thew first pic's,the length,it almost went the whole length of the handle, what were they thinking?
Anyhow,STR,put it back togethere better than factory in this case, fantastic!
