I like the backpedaling. It’s a good move.

Not beating the dead horse any longer. I’m done with this thread. You all have already skewed the poll with the influx of 8+ votes. Maybe one day you all will get tired of trying to screw with threads I create… but I won’t hold my breath.

You have issues, guy. Serious issues.

🤦‍♂️ done huh?

So what can the 4.38" knife do that a bigger knife can not do in your survival situation?

Just following your lead. Looks like when I left 3 or 4 people got hyper so had to comment.

Show me where I said a bigger knife can’t do knife things? Pretty sure I said it does the same things but with more effort. Reading is fundamental, buddy.

My bad, I thought you’d beat this one to death already. Carry on Beavis
Funny how you’ll troll on the open forum, but there’s a nice little spot for this in w&c and you don’t have the guts to go respond to me there. It’s almost like you have an agenda.

Are you talking about that odd thread of yours? I honestly don’t pay much attention to it 🤷🏻‍♂️

I don’t even know you, so it’s kinda silly to say I have a “personal dispute”, quit being paranoid.
If you’re not commenting about the topic, you’re making it personal. Now I’ve already told you once that w&c is the place for your trolling. You going to keep at it here?

Leaving open but I won’t participate. Maybe the votes will balance back out eventually when more people vote.

I chose the 4 to 4.5, although I would have wanted a 4-5 in choice, because I think the practical use of a smaller blade with all the cutting tasks involved is more realistic to the average user. I sense where a larger blade is a good all around knife if no other tools are available as stated in the OP’s original post, but a survival situation for several weeks does not sound like a survival situation but a a longer planned expedition or experience. Where one would have a choice of more tools like a saw or hatchet. So, to be honest, I thought the survey was a little skewed towards a large knife anyway if there is no option for other tools. No disrespect meant, but the average user will be much better served with a medium fixed blade, most are not going to baton wood, and the longer time frame I expect more tool choice. Now if a zombie apocalypse happens or a hostile terrorist group make a move at causing tragedy, then I expect the bigger the better if I am heading out of Dodge. I would grab machete or one of my Hudson Bay knives. Good discussion.
