I made a trade with a fellow CBKC member at this months meeting and ended up getting a Buck Selector model 428. What interesting to me is that this one has double blades. It has a clip point that does not lock (slip joint) and the other blade is the innerchangable one. It has a nylon sheath with a pocket in the back for the three extra blades. Anyone familiar with this Selector? The other ones that I have are single lockblade.

I had a Buck 428 for a while. I prefer the single blade selector. The blade that is closed does not allow full contact the the handle, my fingers wrapped around the top edge of the blade. Worked fine, just did not care for the grip. The 428 does use the same blades as the Selector model.

That's true the other blade does seem to keep you from getting a good grip. It's still a pretty cool knife.
