This is a new handmade self-defense tool. The design is based on the yawara, an ancient Japanese fighting tool. Overall length is 6 7/8". The tool is made from 19th century cutlery steel and retains its original hardened and tempered heat treatment. It also retains some of its genuine patina showing age and use from its previous life. The tool is hand carved and polished. There is a red fiber spacer between the tool and the desert ironwood pommel. The pommel is drilled and held to the tool by the tools tang and further secured with 2-ton epoxy. The tool comes with a dark brown oil dyed handmade wet formed leather slip sheath that is sewn with red nylon thread. Great for carrying in a pocket or handbag for emergency situations. SOLD shipped within the US only. Payment by Paypal or USPS money order. Email me at billgoodwin1958@gmail.com
