self defense folder

If I was in the market for an economy model defensive folder, I would get either a CRK&T Large KFF or a Cold Steel Large Tanto Voyager.

For what it's worth, I already own both.

Well folks,
I think I have pretty much decided to break my own guidelines. I have been reading a lot about the new Spyderco self-defense knives the Gunting and the Chinook. I am thinking of saving a bit and getting one of them. So far I am leaning toward the Gunting. What do you think? BTW, I think Gunting goes for about $115.00 and Chinook for $110.00.

Good call. I just ordered a Chinook, and will be ordering several Guntings and drones in the near future.

The ideal "folder" to carry for self-defense would be a Motorola (folding) flip-phone. Once your tactical folder has been taken from you and you have been beaten to within an inch of your life you may be able to call for an ambulance.

That being said, the very best self-defense weapon is the one no one else knows that you have.

This is a tired and stupid topic and best left to one of those mindless knife mags.

I am not sure that is A very nice thing to say. I am quite concerned with this topic. Since I was the one that started it, are you implying that I am stupid? I respect your opinion and if you are not interested in answering the question at hand, I suggest you keep your posts to yourself.

Well, you know what they say: never judge the whole world by your own sh*tty standards...

Reguarding samwereb's post, I have to wonder if he'd politely wait for someone to finish injuring him and then seek medical assistance or if he would simply drop to his knees, beg for his life, and offer up his wallet.
