With absolutely NO CONSIDERATION for what other's may want or buy or even cost to upgrade -- Consider the following:

If you could tweak ONE OR TWO features <MAXIMUM> on a Spyderco Knife Model and push it to the next X.0 iteration
...

What model would you choose...and what one or two features would you change?

Have fun with it and remember, you can only change a MAXIMUM of 2 features on an actual Spyderco model >>> current OR disco'd!

I'll kick it off...;):p

I'd take a Spyderco Pacific Salt <keeping is solid FRN & linerless> and:
1. Add a Matriarch 2 blade <SE & PE>.
2. Make ALL other hardware on the knife Titanium

I'd call it the Pacific Salt FREE-- as in FREEdiver, FREE of rust, FREE in general-- and I'd use it for cycling, jogging, & hiking during the humid Tennessee summers when it feels like you're swimming thru the atmosphere.

Native 5 G10 --> Compression Lock. Keep the: full liners, blade steel options, 4-way clip, handle & blade profile, made in Golden CO!...

Mule Team --> Production version: CTS-XHP, made in Golden, same handle & sheath options as currently offered (so the knife would be sold bare, without either).

1- Add a Emerson Wave to the
Lil Matriarch.

2- Compression lock on the GB2

Native 5: 1 or 2 changes maximum, huh? With that constraint, I'd say thinner blade stock is #1 and deep carry clip is #2.

If I knew a compression lock would work well on this size of handle, I'd want that, too. I don't presume so, however. I know they put it on the Li'l Native, but I haven't tried it. The compression lock is great on my PM2. Would it work as well in hand on the Native's 4-inch handle?

I'd buy one of those.

I currently carry my native light weight on jogs around the neighborhood. One neighbor, in particular, has a very viscous fighting type dog and I would never want to have to face this dog empty handed. The native is very short, so I would value a rust proof option with a little more lethal blade. Interesting post.

Every Spyderco folding knife would come with a peg style removable wave like the Spyderco pikal. Or atleast every folding knife where it makes sense.

Part two? No more fibreglass nylon sheaths for their less expensive knives. I’ve got a liteweight street beat that dulls its edge every time I take it out of the sheath. Real great design guys. I thought your knives were supposed to put the edge first?

I'd work on the Resilience. It's already awesome but it could use some Tenacious type upgrades.

1) black blade and clip
2) combo edge

Only one change to make my wish come true: Police 4 with a Power Lock. For such a large knife this would be perfect.
