selfmade traditional slipjoint(s) (in progress)

Looks fantastic, Bjoern!! Welcome and I will get the next flight out and we can tour around Austria!! I wish:D Hope to see you around here often

nice to see that the site isn't just promoting it's own commercial interests, but has an actual desire to help budding craftspersons. not that I'm criticizing, but hearing "you need a gold membership" 50,000 times DOES tend to make one wonder. two thumbs up to all involved and very nice, Bjoern.

Actually a knifemaker membership is orange. The folks that keep this website afloat are the paying members. Basic, Gold, Platinum, Dealer members and Craftsman members, and membership does have it's privileges. Check it out. You might decide it's for you too. :)

Nice to see you posting here, Bjoern. Nice WIP and nice knife!

actually im working on an airport so i'll await your arrival gevonovich, just let me know! ;) i will show you austria and you could teach me how to make such great photographs of knives when you are here.

It would be a dream to tour Austria and to have you as a tour guide perfection. I can dream and Thank You for your kindness!!

Dude, that is awesome. I can't believe that is your first one! Can't wait to see the finished product (hint) :) . Was there any specific threads on the forum that you used to get ideas on how to do this at this level? Either way, great job.

thanks dude! i hope it will be ok when finished, i will see in about two weeks, next week it goes to hardening. i do have few books on that subject where i can look up if i dont know how to go on, but mostly it was trial and error because i think you learn most of your faults (cost me lot of nerves though ;) ) and in the books they use a lot of machines which i just dont have.
