I have a few Ti pens, but the Tactile Turn bolt pen fits the bill for me.
It looks classy (doesn't look gaudy), lightweight, works/write really well (gel insert), and has a fidget factor. I keep it on the shoulder of my chef coat, light enough that it doesn't annoy me when I move around. One day I'll get the zirconium version.
I got the Hinderer Investigator pen before I knew much about him. Then got an XM-18 the 3”version. Eventually had two more of his knives and enjoyed quite a bit but never bonded. So ended up selling them all. I love this pen. It’s in my permanent collection.
The Skillcraft pens aren't flashy but will write a mile in any conditions a human could survive. Reliable, compact, and cheap, everything else is window dressing.
My main pen is a titanium Fellhoelter Ti Bolt with the shorter milled clip and titanium FAP CAP. I really like it, and the FAP CAP is an expensive but required addition.
