Sell me or not on the Carbon Fiber scales for the XM's

Btw, the CF scale is $100, but you can sell your G-10 for $40-$50 depending on it's condition.

I never understood why the CF knives cost $100 more than G-10. You can buy a G-10 knife and upgrade it to CF for $60 net if you sell the original scale.

ya know, I never quite got that either. If you order an xm-18 with a CF scale, it adds $100 to the total...

with the Carbon Fiber scales only costing $35 more than the original G10 scales, you would think that it would only add $35 to the price of the knife, or that they would at least throw in a G10 scale in with it as well...
