Seller GP01 Theif? Came through with his sale and is good to go!

08-12-2014 Bought a knife from this seller 2 weeks ago and so did another member at the same time and neither of us have gotten the knives. First week wasn't worried figured sent first class USPS or something and just taking more time.Usually here get my knives that are bought in 3 days though and ship out myself the same way.

08-19-2014 He wrote me this-----GP01--"Hey man. So i totally screwed the pooch on this one due to some unfortunate circumstances. I am not going into detail as it is a bit embarrassing... At this point i can absolutely 100 percent ship the knife tomorrow morning or i can refund your money. I will not be upset at all if you no longer want the knife. My apologies man. Just let me know how you would like for me to proceed."

Told him i still wanted the knife and this is what he said. I also told him the other buyer was worried already he wasn't going to recieve his knife.---GP01--"Yep i have already contacted him. Thanks for the heads up and again, i apologize for the delay. I will ship priority with tracking first thing and send you the info as soon as i have it in hand. Thanks for understanding."

Since then no resonse from him,no tracking, no knife. Would like him to issue refunds and just to show up on the thread. Starting a paypal claim after this also. Other buyer already has he told me. Time for some answers GP01. What's your excuse? I want a refund soon. Do not buy from or sell to this member BF. He's a suspected theif at the moment unless he does something to clear his name.

If the MODS can please try to get ahold of him also. Thanks.

Put in for your refund from paypal now and then try to contact the seller one more time. Then send a copy of your correspondences also. Good luck.
 
Just an observation- he has a whole 8 posts to his name, of which 7 are attempting either buy, sell, or trade. It's always best to be a little cautious of doing transactions with new folks, not because they are new but because they need time to understand the way that the forums here work, the rules, and time to build their reputation. If you are concerned, you can start a paypal claim, unless of course you paid via gift.

Was some what sceptical from the start since the 0 feedback score but people have to start somewhere. Yeah gonna start a PP claim today. Gave this seller time and trust with no results. Me and the other buyer have contacted him over and over. No response through email or PM. I'm done. Gave him a chance, figured he needed it since was new but have no more hope for this bad experiance turning around. hoping he has a good explaination or something. Just wanted to see if he had something to say before leaving negative feedback also besides starting the PP claim.
 
Well, another member just threw his integrity, credibility, deal-ability right in the sewer for a pair of knives. That's right, a pair of freaking knives!!!!

He does not want to go into it because he screwed the pooch so he lined up the cat, the gerbil, the goldfish and the hamster and put it to them also.

So what can he say "I am sorry, so sorry, I am embarrassed, blah, blah, blah" I have had enough with people like this. With the number of knives given away here, with the kind of true members here who would gift a knife just because and with true members here who would even tiake time payments to help out someone that they DO NOT know makes me want to take GP01 and take and:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

I am the other buyer. I have repeatedly tried to contact him got the same story and never heard back from the guy. I am also fairly new around here and I understand how things go and gave him a shot . I guess you live and learn but its new guys like this that give other members concerns of dealing with new members..I started a paypal claim today and would just like to resolve this issue. .
 
No one can fault you Ulf, you tried to get the ball rolling for another member. No way to know how it would have turned out without trying.
 
Sorry to hear about this. Hopefully, things will go easy with PP and you both will get your money back. Hard to believe somebody would do this on any knife forum and for two stinking $100 knives to boot. Thank for making us all aware.
 
Just a thought, and maybe I am jumping the gun, but it may serve well to also leave negative/neutral feedback so folks have a very clear indication of the issues aside from searching out this thread?

If know response by tomarrow from him i will do that. Want to give this guy every chance to say something and make things right. I see somebody esle has bought a knife from him a day after we did and doesn't look like they recieved their knife either cause no feedback left yet. Contacted the buyer and told him to post here.

Screw it starting PP claim today. If i give this guy negative feedback can he also do the same for me or can i have his negative feedback lifted from my feedback afterwards since he's in the wrong and has no right to do so? Is there any possiblity he can just get banned? This time of behaviour is BS and i for one would like to see him banned and i'm sure there is a few others also.

That being said, I just got home from the PO and all three knives have been shipped. I totally understand the animosity here as well. I would be upset at this point too. OMG. Dude what the heck happened to you. Left a million messages you have to answer people and ship faster bro. Good lord. Why no response? Why did it take so long to ship? Need some answers man.
 
Ulf, I could give you a million excuses right now. Life has not been good to me at all lately. I was recently laid off and have been waiting for unemployment to kick in. My house went into foreclosure some time ago and we were just officially evicted. I have been trying to raise as much money as possible to keep us afloat but it's been really hard man. I have sold practically all my knives, guns, anything of worth really but it just hasnt cut it. This is my fault and I take full responsibility. My problems are not your problems and should not have affected our deal at all. I am so sorry bro. This is not who I am or how I do business. I am ashamed of this whole situation.
 
And trust me, I will not be offended in the least if you leave negative feedback. You had a negative experience buying from me and that is that.
 
Really, you have nothing to say besides sorry only after people started PP claims and starting to realize you might get banned? I just wanna hear something. Some kinda excuse, i thought i was supposed to ship 2 weeks after buyers made payment, or i didn't know i was supposed to respond to people trying to contact me. Something. I'm glad you showed up and apoligized. That's great. this never would have happened if you just would have shipped when supposed to within a week time frame and AT LEAST RESPOND TO PEOPLE TRYING TO CONTACT YOU! What were we supposed to think? I just wanna know why for some closure. I will take this thread down even and leave positive feedback after recieveing knife if it is indeed on it's way. Just gotta know why? thought maybe you went to jail or died or something.lol. Come on need any thing to go off of.
 
That is not good news to hear and feel for you bro but glad to hear there were problems you were dealing with. WISH YOU WOULD HAVE JUST RESPONDED TO US!:) I personally would have waited as long as you needed man. Just needed to know you were still there and planning on sending it.Sorry to hear about the bad luck. I thought for sure was getting scammed and so were the other buyers. I didn't care and was waiting unworried for the first 10 days then no response led me to believe this was not going to end well. I will take down this thread immediately after our knives arrive and will even leave + feedback ( don't know about the other guys though). Thank you for finally responding and sorry it had to be here. Please for the love of God answer your buyer's messages and ship quicker in the future.:)
 
Im sorry what you are going through, I to would have been patient with you if I would have heard from you. I am very easy to deal with and just wanted a response. I will post feedback when pakage is received. . Thanks ulf you got the ball rolling..good luck to you GP
