selling blade with no handle

Has anyone sold just a blade for someone wanting to put on a handle them self. A so so friend ask me for a hidden tang with a guard installed today and I told him I'd have to think about it. What do you guys think about this?
 
Not a maker, but I would sell him the blade unmarked so it doesn't end up being sold as your work down the line.
 
I have a couple like this and am glad to have good blades to "hobby" with. The blade should be unmarked though, just to keep there from being any confusion in the future.
 
I have made blades for a couple of buddies but like the guys above said I never put my name on them. Moon
