Hey everyone! I'm new to the forum but am loving it so far. What a wealth of information! I love kitchen knives and, like many here I'm betting, I have more than I need. I am thinking of selling one, but I've never sold my knives and I'm just not sure of what prices people usually sell them for. I want to sell my Masakage Koishi Petty 150mm that I bought about 1.5 years ago for ~$250 from a fantastic shop in Toronto called KNIFE. It's actually one of my favorites. The Aogami Super (super blue carbon) cuts beautifully and is insanely fun to sharpen, but I'm just trying to reduce some redundancy in my collection. I appreciate any advice on selling, thanks!

To sell here you have to purchase a gold membership at a minimum. Nice to see you use the site for all the information it has to offer. Just grab the correct membership to sell and you will be good to go.

You have gotten most of your answers as to what is required to sell on BF I would suggest if you do so to look through some of the threads on behavior(s) that are frowned upon just so you can avoid making any unfortunate mistakes. This obviously isn't the only place you can sell it but likely one of the better places and to get a price fair to its value. I would say any talks beyond this about other options would need to be done privately and best course for that would be via private messages which you need IIRC at least a Basic membership. So either way you might want to start looking into the memberships and just dig a bit more around here about how the sales and trade sections work.
