Selling knives at a garage/yard sale.

If you have some loyal friends I have had some people stand watch, as most times hence the name a yard sale is out side, I have had people stand on the sides. My friend now this might be over doing it, works these sales like costco. He hand rights a a ticket for them saying what they bought, then when they leave a person at the end of the drive way marks off the ticket to see what they are holding matches what they bought.

That seems overly complicated. However, having 50 knives on the table at one time can be challenging. I would keep the quantity much lower unless you have a secure display case.

Yea like I said it is more then likely not worth doing all that, just get some glass display cases.

I've had a lot of yard sales and knives were never big sellers. Most people are looking for very cheap items. You'll get tired of hearing , " What make this knife so expensive".

Generally the people are yard sale shoppers not shoppers so thats why the same questions are asked.

Wow. The sale went really well. I sold about 45 knives and an assortment of other items and made over $500.

No pics of your table with blades?? :grumpy:
ah yes. I thought someone might ask that. To be honest I'd be sort of embarrassed to show some of the knives I was selling. But here are a few of them. I had multiples of most of those knives. And still have a couple left. Such as the *ahem* CS "Ti-lites". And I still have 2 Enlans.
