Gotta do my part to help. I don't have a lot of extra cash, so I want to sell these, with 100% of the money going to help the Katrina victims through Red Cross, Feed the Children, etc. Soon as I reach $1000 I am going to stop and withdraw whatever knives are left. You know I am serious when I start selling my Crawfords. Fastest response will be to email me. mattecook(at)excite.com.

1) A Russell Easler stag handled hunter/fighter (you decide). 9-1/2" overall, 4-1/2" blade, leather sheath. Excellent condition. $250. SOLD.

2) Another Russell Easler, this one a stag handled trailing point hunter. 7 5/8" overall with a 3 5/8" blade. Leather sheath. Excellent condition; a couple of tiny specks are visible. $250. $225. $199! $179!!

3) A Mel Pardue Powner Horn lockback folder, black micarta scales, 4-3/4" overall, 3-1/2" blade. Excellent condition. A great opportunity to own an older Pardue. Here is an excerpt from the email Mel sent me about the knife:

...The knife is a "Powder Horn Folder" made approx 25 or 26 years ago. The bolsters are 416 stainless. The blade is 154-CM. It looks like it is in like new condition, Should be worth about $675.00 replacement cost. I havent made a lockback knife in over 24 years. $375. $325. $299! $279!!

4) A Mark Boyer Tac-1 linerlock folder, #9 out of 50. 8-3/4" overall, 3-3/4" blade, G-10 scales. Excellent condition. I don't think Mark makes folders any more. $200. $175. $149! $129!!

5) A Pat Crawford LDC-7. This is one of the limited editions put out by Les Robertson. Black micarta scales, bead-blasted titanium bolsters, bead-blasted, double-edged blade. 8-1/2" overall. 3-3/4" blade. Bead-blasted clip, tip-down. Linerlock. Excellent condition. $300. Sold

6) Larry Harley persian-style fighter. 9" overall, 5" double ground, double-edged black coated blade, cord wrapped, with Sherry Lott sheath. Unused, but the black coating has been scratched off in a couple of spots and there is a thin line down the back of the sheath that looks like someone scribed it with a blade. $175.$160. $139! $129!!Sold Pending Payment.

Prices include standard USPS shipping; due to the nature of the sale, I would ask that other services such as insurance or expedited shipping be paid for by the buyer, and if you want to pay with PayPal to add 3%. Money Orders are also fine.

Thanks. As soon as I reach $1000 I will stop and send the money to the victims.

Easler #1 is sold; prices reduced--I really want to get some of these sold and get the money sent.

I applaud you and this effort. You are doing a good thing and I wish you well.

I'm sorry that I cannot buy one of these myself.

129 for a custom folder?!?!?
Matt, how's the action on it?, lockup, etc.....
Action is stiff but smooth--I have not messed around with loosening the pivot screw or anything like that. Lock up is good, no play, and the liner only goes over far enough that about 95% of the edge of the liner contacts the blade.

Will P, sorry but I have an "I'll take it" for #6.
