don't worry, it wont really suck until you buy them back for more $$-
I have sold pleanty of beloved items as health or family issues force- always sucks, and then building back up just to have some event topple you again.. such is life..
enjoy them while you have them... savor the flavor as life is short!

Been there done that, had to sell nearly everything I owned back in the mid 1990's due to health problems, medical bills, lack of enough insurance, job layoffs, etc. Only advice I can offer is to not sell those that are extremely difficult to ever relocate and buy again in the future. Life may suck right now, but those knives are physical objects that you possess and can be replaced later. Keep a few special core knives for your collection or user purposes, and remember that health and family survival is what counts the most in this world.
