1-2 hr of drivng for most folx in CT, NY, PA, NJ. Post-demonstration
pickup @ me home in Rutherford NJ (8 miles west of Manhattan). You
also get to see me home made belt grinder, heat treat oven etc. Priceless
pearls of wisdom are also free.

- Sieg X2 (aka mini-mill) - converted to belt drive, whisper quiet. Extended
vertical travel range. Used, but solid. R8, drill chuck included. Replacement belts

- Sieg 8x14 mini lathe (long bed). Many extras, including QCTP, replacement belts, etc etc. DC motor, vari-speed Solid, accurate.

$550 for both of them. Both work 100%

I can throw in 3 DRO scales for the mill for additional $60 - but you'd need to build your own Shumatech DRO unit (I built my own, but keeping it :)

And if you act soon :), I will throw in a 4" rotary table, for free :)

Now, for those thinking - he's prolly closing the shop and dumping this stuff,
the true reason is: I have upgraded to X3 and 9x20, both from HF, and don't have the need for my "starter" HW anymore.
 
that and ive been eying up lathes about 3 months
deker said if i make the run he will take that mill off my hands so it all works out
 
butch - I emailed you the contact info. I figure I sell the HW @ at affordable
price to fellow makers as opposed to keeping it for "just in case" ...
 
couldnt find the email to get back to you again

my truck while i have the parts ( ate into the tool fund )still is not fixed and may not be waht i would call long hual worthy for a while (other things jsut seem to keep popin up)

im sorry that i have to do this but im not going not be able to swing it. not all of it or anytime soon

the lucky part is a friend has lathes i can use if need be (i hate doing that ) and may have a small south bend that he can bringn over for me

so some one please grab these up so i dont feel so bad for havign to back out

If only I could get there...I was going to buy the mill from Butch...I just don't have the time to get there to pick it up....Next deal I suppose :)
