I collected these knives around 10 years ago when I was in college. I have recently had to lighten my inventory and sell my mad dogs. They have been in storage and have no rust on them. I have tried to expose any defects and taken high quality photos. The coyote is the only knife I have not purchased brand new from a supplier.
Coyote - used and professionally sharpened, original grind angle maintained 1300usd
The Coyote is in essence a stretched Bear Cat. It has a lean and light 7-inch blade of 3/16 stock 01 steel same heat treatment, same hard chrome.
Comes with combat and slip sheath
Bearcat - used and sharpened once with original blade finish and grind angle maintained 2200usd
Slight scuff on hilt
This Bear Cat by Mad Dog Knives features .188" stock, and 1.243" blade depth. Selectively tempered, the Bear Cat has a Rockwell C-scale hardness of 62 at the edge (as hard as a file), and HRC 50-54 throughout the spine and hidden full tang. Hard chrome blade finish.
The handle is designed to be ergonomic and has the ability to withstand tremendous punishment with little or no damage. It is hard and tough enough to be used as an impact tool.
Includes a hi-ride and kydex slip sheath.

Selectively tempered, the knife has a Rockwell C-scale hardness of 62 at the edge (as hard as a file), and HRC 50-54 throughout the spine and hidden full tang. Hard chrome blade finish. The handle is designed to be ergonomic and has the ability to withstand tremendous punishment with little or no damage. It is hard and tough enough to be used as an impact tool. Includes a Dundee rig, combat sheath and slip sheath. Good luck ever finding another one of these.
