Got rid of everything I needed to sell, so PLEASE do not contact me about things I don't own anymore!

Doc,
I know you are selling your "toys", but where are you going?, Whatcha' gonna be doing...teaching....but what is so good about the offer you must have gotten to get you into Profession only,,,,and out of being a "metal mangler".
I am being nosey, not malicious or challenging.....
You must have a really neat chance....
Best of Wishes to have a wonderful future.....but don't forget, a good grinder, a few belts, and some good steel....and you have a hobby....or an obsession.......
Just a suggestion..."dump" is not necessarily a good term to use in "marketing fine inventory and product"....try "need to reduce volume of fine materials and machinery in anticipation of a rather eminent relocation for Professional career enhancement........"

Stay with the Forums.........

I am also interested in your coote. I see that Adam was interested before I saw this thread, but.........if for some reason, he doesn't take it, I'd like to be considered. Email sent....

Wow, I got a BUNCH of email! I am still seeing patients, trying to pack up, etc, so please be patient if you don't hear from me right away. Thanks, guys! To asnwer your questions:

- I'm heading to Kansas City to be a faculty clinician at the chiro college there. I will be overseeing all the care in the student clinic, get involved in research, do a little classroom teaching, and still be able to have a small practice on the side. It's going to be exactly what I've always wanted!

I just don't have the time to be making knives anymore. Someday. I am going to be renting for another year, too, so it just doesn't make sense to pay big bucks to cart this stuff. Alright, off to answer email. Thanks, guys!

I'd really like to take that metal cutting saw off your hands (and maybe some handle material). Let me drop you an email real quick here.
Mike

Ah Steve! You're killing me here my friend- say it ain't so- as a former customer & proud owner of a couple of your 'one-of-a-kind' pieces- I was looking for more!
Best of luck in the new position & let me know when I could possibly order a grapefruit peeler...

I hear ya man. I hear ya.:(
but good luck Doc in all your future endeavors.

Thanks, guys. Everything sold. It's a good move for me. I just couldn't justify hauling this stuff around the country. The point I was in with my knifemaking meant that I would have had to put pretty much every waking hour toward it to continue to improve. I'm at a point in my life where spending all my free time, by myself, in a dark, dirty basement just d sound appealing anymore! I'll get back into it at some point, but not soon enough that it would make sense to haul all that machinery around and let it rust in the basement!
