I bought this a few years ago. I think the previous owner scotchbrited the handles because they don't show trails like my other CRKs, but he didn't mention it when I bought it. I think it looks good with the antique style bronzed anodizing. Hasn't seen much use from me, love it just was bigger than I need every day. I did the clip blue to blend into jeans.

REI Benchmade Griptilian in green/black g10 and s30v $150
Sharpened but never carried because I don't like the extra weight over the standard plastic handles. It did pick up two light scratches towards the tip during sharpening. I tried to take pictures to show it in the worst light possible, but they're really pretty light.

Benchmade 940 AXIS - 940-121 - CPM-M4 Blade - Carbon Fiber/Anodized Titanium Handle - GOLD CLASS $340
Handle was sent through a tumbler with walnut shells and Turtle Wax to lightly polish off the green, after which it was anodized blue to better match the carbon fiber. There is some slight oxidizing where it has writing, especially where it says “CPM-M4” on the blade, and the clip, being that shiny type, has become spotted (free from BM for a new one anyway). Also slight oxidization on flat side of the pivot.

Military Carbon Fiber M390 Sprint $290
Sharpened once but not carried more than a week. Clip has oxidizing but no red rust. Screws were replaced by T8 (over the easily-stripped T6), and backspacer replaced with spacers. In very good condition. There are a couple spots on the blade, probably would come off with a bit of polish, but I didn’t want to mess with it.

CRK Large Sebenza Insingo S30v $330
This one has a bit of customizing done. Handle (and handle screws) were nicely stonewashed, while the handle was tumbled to a shinier finish. The lock bar was also carbidized to extend longevity. Finally, the handle is anodized darker green. Has seen very little use. Sharpened high on the tip on one side.

Never carried because I didn’t like the clip. I can’t tell if I sharpened it, probably though. The only thing that’s wrong with it is, as with all the LE shiny type clips from Benchmade, it has those spots on it, and the logo has staining.

Spyderco Paramilitary 2 Black blade $120
Was clipped to the inside of my pack and used infrequently. Sharpened twice. Clip and handle shows wear, but it is super smooth with no sticky lockup. I don’t like the PM2, but this one was so nice that I kept it. Functionally perfect, cosmetically imperfect.
