Every so often things pile up around me to the point I have to do a little cleanup and get rid of the stuff that I thought was too good to toss. There will be some junk, but some treasures as well.

The photo shows one of my first piles. It is all burl, figured or spalted cut off pieces. Might be good for small handles, spacers, fire striker handles and maybe some full sized handles. I can personally guarantee that it makes good kindling so that is how I will be pricing the boxes.

Medium size flat rate boxes will be filled randomly with as much as they can hold and be available for $25 each to include US postage. Priority mail shipping costs me about $10 so you are getting the wood for about $15 plus shipping. (about what it's worth as kindling)

I will post photos as I fill boxes. I will keep going with more stuff until I have my work area all cleaned up. Could take weeks.

ok Mark, is your shop floor covered with a tarp or did you pile it on a tarp??Do I see some sun shine on there??. Sunshine in Oregon-this time of year !!!!!??lol. $25-good price for the endless possibilities those pieces can provide-Marekz

The tarp is on the ground. As I sort out the useless stuff I blow off the keepers and throw them on the tarp. I have barely made a dent in the pile so far. Yes, that was a 2 minute dose of sunshine. Must have been a mistake.
 
Burk Source, I will take box #3 and Box #4. just checking $25 x 2 = $50? or can the 2 be combined into one bigger box? let me know.

Packed how they are is the most cost effective way to ship them.
$50 total for the 2 boxes is correct.

Thanks Mark, I'll take lucky number 13, will send paypal later this aft. Is it possible to mark the blocks? I won some sycamore off you last year and it is actually on a knife now, I should be finished it soon. Oh and let me know if the shipping is extra for Canada.

My cost to ship a medium flat rate box to Canada is about $26USD.
So if you still want the box your cost will be $40.
I will mark it sold unless you direct otherwise.
 
As a joke I was going to rant about how expensive it was.. I won't hehe. Paypal sent.
 
Why do you always do this:grumpy: either I am short on money or need to put it some place else every time you have these sales. This time I have the money earmarked for my VFD and a smoking deal on some razors I already committed to buy. One of these days I will get lucky and the stars will line up for me.

Got mine in the mail today. Thanks Mark! Much more wood than I expected, and the quality is great! I'll be able to get quite a few handles out of this box!
