1,000 yard rifles in the right hands. Go for the SOCOM II if you want the short barrel and rails.

I went with the LMT. I wanted the 18" steel barrel, but they're difficult to find so I bought one with a 16" chrome lined barrel and I'll get the barrel I want as they become available. Now to find a scope!
