We have these two little guys. Both were supposed my "personal knives" at one point even though I carried the green one maybe 5 or so times and never carried the damascus knife. The spear point is 115W8 at around 62Rc. The blade is a bit under 4 inches long and around .130 thick, It has a "raindrop" mustard finish. The scales are green canvas Micarta with stainless Corby bolts. The blade has a 30 micron belt finish hiding somewhere under the etch. The snakebite sheath is a Treestump #2 IIRC. Teh stain is from tobacco juice. Long story. $150 with free shipping to Lower 48.
The little bird and trout is around 200 layer 1084.15N20 random pattern damascus made by me. It is hardened to 60Rc. The blade is 3.75 inches long by .125 thick with a 600 grit hand rubbed finish hiding under the etch. The guard is blade material and the handle is old growth Honduran rosewood burl. It does not have a sheath. $175 same deal.
Holler if'n ya want one.
And yes, my photo skills are still substandard. I have yet to figure out how to get the steel on a damascus knife AND the figure and color of the wood to pop in the same picture. :DIMG_0123 (1).jpgIMG_0126 (1).jpg

So I dipped into the CFV stash for this one. It is the first full tang blade that I have ever forged from this steel and only like the third tapered tang that I have ever finished. The blade is 4 inches long and around .150 thick and the OAL is 8.5 inches. It is hardened to 61-62 Rc and has a cork belt finish with a "raindrop" mustard patina. The handle is stabilized amboyna burl with .060 royal blue G10 liners, so it has a bit of heft. The corby bolts and lanyard tube are stainless. It comes with the size 3 Treestump sheath and USPS shipping is free to the lower 48. Asking $200 OBO
