Semi-Persian? Bog Oak and W2

there comes a time when there isn't really much to add, so I'll lean on my brothers here and simply offer up more kudos.
Your kudo account is probably pretty much full at this point.

That's awesome, everything works together, I like the shape of the handle and the proportions of the bolster. I agree the bog oak is very cool.

What a sweet looking knife! Thanks for sharing the info about scraping, rather than sanding, the wood to better reveal the grain. Good choice with the wrought and bronze, as their "old world" nature parallels the ancient bog oak. I especially like the way the fibers and finish of the wrought cross those of the oak. The juxtaposition is complimentary.

another knife with a simple theme but beautiful lines and details. Very nice. My kind of knife.

I don't see much Persian.... but, DAYUMMMMM.... that is one spectacularly beautiful knife!

Even when you try a different style knife influences, there's an unmistakable Branson look that unifies and identifies your work. Love this knife. And that hamon is just killer.

What are the dimensions?

Stuart,
You've been turning out some fantastic work, and this one is no exception. I love the overall profile and the way the hamon extends out of the handle, while the blade drops below it. Probably my favorite detail is the smooth transition between the faceted handle and the rounded fittings. Awesome.
