Send the New President a Commander

We all need friends in high places, so if we all contribute a dolar we can start the new post clinton era off right by getting the new president a nice new pocket knife.

i say we get him an engraved commander. the president should have a wave, he can afford ruining his pants pockets with it. ( i love my commander so dont start with me)

reguardless what we get, whoever contributes gets their name on the card.

other options would be a gold coin sebenza.

if anyone wants to donate a knife, that would solve the problem i proposed.

this forum has over 8 thousand members. i think we can scare up the cash.

lets remember, cause of bush we have gotten rid or Janet Reno. That is alone worth giving the man a nice custom knife.

Now, we get a president that is not a draft dodging looser who will not send out military all over on political feel good missions for political gain, and who has not been paid for by the comunist chineese.

we also get Ashcroft, who is pro-gun.

i dont know about you guys, but it looks like a good 4 (possibly 8) years.

I say we send him an engraved BM 42 or a MT LCC auto. If we can get President Bush to carry something like that (doubtful, but worth a try) maybe we can have some help in repealing stupid laws.
 
At least when all our rights are gone here we can move South of the border.

Frankly, I'm not in favor of supporting anyone who didn't have a real job 'till he was forty, ran every business he was ever in charge of into the ground, spent Vietnam in the Air National Guard, who clearly struggles to read a teleprompter, and who lost the popular election by half a million votes. But hey, if you care more about your right to carry concealed than you do about the environment, education, a woman's right to choose, and foreign policy...you've got the hand-puppet -- er -- president you deserve. And yes, memnoch, I am from "liberal central," but I did go to the trouble of spelling the state's name correctly.
 
I like the idea and would support it to the best of my abilities.

I also like the idea of the BM 42. If we can get him to carry one then we're that much closer.

well, i do care about my CCW rights more than woman's issues, the environment and other things.
pick one issue and make that your point to vote on. if yours is different than mine i can respect you if you stick with it. but respect me for sticking to mine.

and i couldnt give Ted Kenedy's flabby liberal a$$ how to spell this state.

massive-two-shi+s is what i think of this state. and most of the elected officials it spawns.

i think that the MT people are gonna win, but cant we find more people that think Bush should have a commander?
 
My vote would be for a Polkowski Scorpion and a Les Baer 1911.

At least that's what I'd be carrying everyday as the President.

I'll second the Commander but I think he might like a SIFU better. You know, everything is bigger in Texas. Bush is Texas all the way. If you can get him to carry that he'll carry anything.

You should at least give a consolation prize to Clinton. How about an empty sheath, so that when he finally is dragged from office, he can pull the knife out of America's back and have something to put it in.

He was even toying with the idea of making identical neck knives to go with them as a matched set. Bet ol' Gee Dub would give em TV time too. Be pretty cool to see him whip one out to cut a thread off his suit eh?

 
W! already has and carries a custom made pocket knife. I forgot which maker, but it was posted in Community some time ago along with a picture. The same maker has made similar knives for the Sr. and also for Jeb.

I think our President needs a CRKT M-16, as a reminder of the mess the US Kustoms gave to CRKT a couple of months ago about what is/isn't "legal for import" into the USA.

He wears suits often, so I'd say a WH CF Lancet for the "oval office" days, and when he's not quite as formally attired, then I'd say an LCC or 710 AXIS would be a nice gesture, even if he really never carries it. Can you honestly imagine Dubya toting around a Commander, LCC, or 710? I highly doubt it. Like I said, it'd be a nice gesture anyway. Something like the CF Lancet I could envision him actually using.

Or, a dictionary might be a nice gift as well...

Oh Hell, memnoch, I guess being one of the two people on the board who didn't vote for W makes me a little defensive sometimes. I apologize for my crack about your spelling -- it was uncalled for. Plus this seemed like yet another political thread in a non-political forum, which rubbed me the wrong way. Everything else I said still stands though. But no hard feelings, I hope.

as for a sifu, i just dont trust the roling lock. i like the liner lock. strong enough for my uses.

the siu does not have a wave. if we could have as Bush a Usual Suspect by having he be an emerson fan... well, i think that would make emerson go back to 98 commanders in a hurry, dont you.

unless anyone here wants a visit from the feds, i think that sending the president a .45 pistol is out. sending ME one, however is fine. email me for the FFL's address.
