Sending a Sebenza in for warranty after 10-15 years. Norm or exception?

Parkourdude-for your situation you are not going to find anything better than the Sebenza. They are as reliable if not more so than any other knife I have owned. Every knife maker has some warranty problems, but CRK is a proven simple design that has been made for many years. If I were in you situation it would be my choice. I have and have had many makers knives(both production and custom), and although I like many very much, from a pure reliability stand point none are better than the Sebenza. If you decide to buy used, ask the right questions, so you don't land up with someones problems from the start. Most knives are not going to have a problem and most sellers will divulge any problem if there is any, but there are a few that don't unless asked, and in your position that could make for a bad situation.

I bought a new 1998 small Bg42 sebenza in 2011 and I had to send it in for a spa treatment. It had been sitting in the dealer's shelf. I've used it since then and its one of my favorite folders. Excellent blade and craftsmanship.
