Sending knive to Canada?

No , Its not illegal to send send knives to Canada. Fixed blades just box them up, folders should have blade pin tightened ( if possible ) I have had all kinds of knives shipped to me in Canada and have never had any problems yet.

As for the action of "sending", I bought all my knives from the US: Newgraham or forum members. Only problem was a lost knife once.
 
It's just a CRKT M-16 (4") that I have for sale on Ebay. A Canadian wants to buy it.

Just tighten the pivot, even to the point where you can hardly open it with one hand, and there will be no problem.

The buyer will only have to adjust the pivot as he wants to. Better safe than sorry.

ive sent a couple to canada, with no problems, i listed the contents as camping gear.

but i have also heard the horror stories of customs refusing to release the package because it contained a knife, and the hoops one has to jump through to get it back to the seller.
