September Special?

Thinking of possibly offering several models at special prices.

This sounds like it sound be advertised in the general chat and teased/posted in All of the JK Proud Supporters sigs.
We should get as much attention drawn around here as possible, and decent sized sale might be the ticket, although it should be kept in mind that it still is a gamble.

I like the idea of a K-Tool and EDC size blade:thumbup:

If there is interest I will make a prototype set later this month.

Knife - 5 1/2" overall, 2 1/2" blade, full height grind, textured finish on handle area (no handles)

Tapered K Tool - textured finish on flats

Side by side leather pocket sheath

$100 + $6 shipping

Any interest? If not I won't pursue the idea.

I would use the thinner stock. I have a small production fixed blade that I really like and it has a blade 1/16" thick. I've never had an issue with it and the thin blade slices like a dream. I use it as a cutting tool not for prying or other uses.

What is this one called, sir. Thing would be awesome in your black canvas micarta

That one is my Small Nessmuk. It's about 8 1/4" overall, with about a 4" blade. It was one of my first models, I still have the pattern.

3/32" would be fine, unless it's a significant upcharge for the thinner stock for you.

Well, I wanted to do this myself, but time isnt on my side during forest fire season...and skill..well it would take a long time.

This is a bowie with a cleaver spine and a double edge on clip point. With John's talent materials and experience...plus his simple design eye for what works will make this amazing.

I would vote for the crooked creek and element outdoor knife, with natural canvas micarta scales. for some reason that crooked creek is really drawing me in... :hypnotysed:

The interest in the Element has seemed to die out, and the Crooked Creek is not an inexpensive knife to make.
