Seraphim Falls on Hallmark Tonight.

Just thought it may be of interest. Thats why I posted the link. If some don't want to read it, this is America, don't read it. Thats all the hell it had to do with it since a poster before mentioned that it was a bark river knife.

The knife is a Muela.

Since I do prefer Convex edges I do follow both Fallkniven and Bark River.

That Filing was Addressed two years ago.

If my memory serves me. The people that put it up were former employees that were fired for stealing and were intent on opening their own knife company with the materials that they stole.

I do not remember all the details but I do remember that it was refuted.

As far as the Movie--I have not seen it but I have read a number of places, maybe even on another thread here on Bladeforums, that it was a Muela Bowie that may have been Customized for the Movie.

Dude, they got conned by the Devil! That's what happened, that's why the ending was odd, weird, crappy, whatever.

Yeah, I got the metaphor, but it just doesn't work when you have 90% of a movie that's (at least trying to be) a gritty, avenging a wrong movie, and then out of the blue get spiritual about it. If they wanted that to work there should have been hints and innuendo throughout the movie, not the just the glaring shift at the end.

Also, it was damn stupid to toss his kniofe into the dirt and leave it there.

Which brings up another point. Did anyone else notice how often he rammed that bowie into the ground at the beginning of the movie?

This is a good example of why it is a good idea to do a little work to verify things before spreading them around.

But it looks so coooool!

I cringe every time I see that in a movie, but since they aren't actually having to sharpen and remove nicks from their blades....... :D

I also watched the movie last night. Weird, but I enjoyed it.
I also love that Muela Bowie. I think it is the Magnum model. 16 3/4 oal with a 10 3/4 blade.
It looks like number one in the picture. His crown stag was larger in the movie, but that would vary from knife to knife. The guard looks exactly like I remember the one in the movie looking. Plus that machined thin fuller and the slight recurve to the blade look the same also.

I only got to see the first 20 minutes or so and then I had to leave the house. It looks like a good movie; I'm going to have to rent it so I can finish it (knife in hand, of course).

Don't know if that report is true or not. However I have been around to long to be suprised by anything from anyone. If there is evidence otherwise, I would be open to checking it out. As far as I know personally, they are a fine company.
