Sere 2k, or Shrike?

Here ya go.

In photos where they go from Left to Right across and you can't tell which is which, the SERE 2K is on the left, Shrike in the center and Nomad on the right.

Thanks for the pictures. :) Those knives are a lot thicker than they look in pictures

I'm adding another knife into the big decision: BM 941 - Green aluminum handles, satin finished, 3.4" blade, axis lock.

What do you guys think of it?

What does that mean? If I bought the knife, I would have wished that I got an Al Mar instead?

You see, I already have my big, tank-like, utility knife - my Chinook II.

Now I want a little bit of a smaller knife for everday cutting tasks, and the SERE and Shrike seem like they may be a little too big and wide for that. I also think it is time for my first axis lock.

The 941 seems to fit my criteria:

-Cool green aluminum handle
-154CM steel
-Almost 3 and a half inch blade
-Axis lock

If you could suggest other axis locks around that size, it would be helpful.

(The only Griptillian I'd be interested in is the Doug Ritter S30V version. I like the blade styling. What are the handles of the Grip made out of?)

----
Edit: I've also looked at the BM 520. That looks really nice. Right now, I'd say it is between the 520 and 941.

Who has something to say about either of these?

Ok,again i chirp in in with the usuall suspects.

Benchmade's
All with Axis lock.

710
707
705(Dc'd but stil around in some shops)
940
960

From your last post, i can see a 940, or 960 with your name on it in the near future. :D

Peace

WR

Yep, after some consideration, I'm almost positive that I want a BM 940 - green handles, reverse tanto, satin finish.

Do you have a 94x War Raven? Which version?

No. Not like that.
Just that if you tried Al Mar, you'd be glad you did, instead of going with Benchmade and Spyderco all the time.

I like Benchmades too. My favorite is the Ares (730, 732, 735).
