Serial Number or Model Number?

Does anyone know if the number on the spine of the ER's is the serial number or the model number?

I may know.....on the Folders it is the serial number. The serial number on the Col Moschin is under the removeable handle. The upgraded Fulcrum Testudo now has more subdued markings on the blade and a serial number on the blade just aft of the handle.
