I’ve been thinking about this for a while, and I’ve decided I’m going to go ahead and pull the trigger on selling all but a select few of what was an already distilled-down collection. It took me several years and a few cycles of building up and then pruning back to where I ended up before posting this.....what I think are 13 really excellent knives. So, pruning back again, and of the 13 gems, I’m going to hang on to just five knives that are regular users and/or sentimental favorites.

I think my pricing is good on these knives, so my asking prices are firm. Prices given are with payment by PayPal G&S, but I'll knock off 3% or thereabouts with PayPal F&F payment. I'll also do discounts for multiple purchases going to the same shipping address. All shipping will be by USPS Priority to CONUS only. What else? Oh yeah, obviously I'm not looking for trades, given the whole distillation down to a few knives thing I'm going for here.

Benchmade Mini Crooked River 20CV steel - "custom designed"

I came up with this using Benchmade's design-your-own feature on their website, a little over a year ago. I think it looks really nice, and this is the best quality Benchmade knife I've every experienced. Perfect centering, solid lockup, and very smooth action.....nice!

Condition is really good, with the only wear marks I can see being on the black anodized clip and maybe some very slight scuffing on the bolsters. Blade is clean and scratch-free. Speaking of the blade....by the time I got around to sharpening this Mini Crooked River earlier this year, I actually got to be pretty decent at sharpening (if I do say so myself....haha), and I decided to give this one a mirror (or close to it...) edge finish, using my TSProf sharpening system (will be posting this for sale soon, stay tuned). I think I did a alright job....the edge is purty and quite sharp.

I'm asking $240 for this sweet "customized" Mini Crooked River.

Gayle Bradley 2 + custom snakewood scales by Suingab

I love Gayle Bradley’s knife designs, and in fact, the GB Air (my wedding day carry) is going to be my Bradley keeper. I was initially thinking this GB2 wasn’t going to go anywhere, as well, but decided to stick to my ruthless cut-down mentality. I got these amazing snakewood scales by Suingab, a great eastern European maker of knife scales. I also got a Lynch NW deep carry clip, which is included, but liked the knife with the original black standard Spyderco clip better. The original scales are also included.

Although I used EDCi formula on the M4 steel blade, it managed to get a little bit of patina around the spidey logo and the top of the swedge, but nothing too bad. I actually kinda like it. Otherwise, condition is great. I sharpened it nicely to about 17 degrees each side with a TSProf Kadet sharpening system and Venev Orion stones down to 1200 grit and have kept the blade stropped.

I’m asking $220 for the Gayle Bradley 2, Suingab snakewood scales, and other items outlined above.

Spyderco Native Chief Sprint Run - S90V steel / carbon fiber scales

video - https://photos.app.goo.gl/bwdP6UD44FG6HZTt7

This is (was) my longest folding knife blade at 4”, but it carries amazingly small in the pocket. I’m a huge fan of this iteration of the Spyderco Native, which has an incredibly slicey S90V steel blade. Includes Lynch NW deep carry clip.

I also sharpened up this Native Chief to about 17 degrees each side with the TSProf Kadet sharpening system and Venev Orion stones down to 1200 grit and have kept the blade stropped. The action on this Native Chief is fantastic, which is not always the case with a back lock. It spydie-flicks easily and blade drops when lock is released.

I’m asking $210 for the Native Chief S90V and Lynch clip.

SOLD Spyderco Chaparral w birds-eye maple scales SOLD

This is my favorite version of the Chaparral, which for me is saying a lot. Just a great, great small knife and damn good-looking, to boot. I put a mirror edge on this Chaparral with the aforementioned TSProf, Venev Orion stones, and several strop blocks down to 0.4 micron. Similar to the Native Chief, the action on this Chaparral is very smooth, with easy spydie-flicking and blade release when back lock is pressed.

I'm asking
SOLD $165 for the Birds-eye Maple Chaparral.

SOLD Chris Reeve Plain Sebenza 31 - S45VN steel SOLD

video: https://photos.app.goo.gl/uME46kd1ABCHRsWS9

This is a plain Sebenza 31 in great shape. I've carried it a bit, used it lightly, and stropped it a few times. Action is glassy and smooth, like you'd expect in a Sebenza. Blade looks clean and scratch free to me. The non-clip side scale has some very light trails, and the clip side has a small scratch right at the edge, off the clip. The aforementioned scratch extended on to the clip, which I then replaced with a brand new clip directly from Chris Reeve Knives. Both clips are included.

I'm asking
SOLD $400 for this very nice example of a Sebenza 31.

SOLD Sharp by Design Mini Tempest SOLD

video: https://photos.app.goo.gl/3Tnrz3bfkrresYhn9

I preordered this from Brian Nadeau's SBD website in 2021 and waited and waited and then almost forgot about it until earlier this year when this amazing knife finally shipped. By the time I received it, I had made the decision to cut down to a few essential folding knives, but receiving this incredible Mini Tempest came pretty close to destroying my will power on that particular decision....haha!! Hands down this is the best front flipper action on a knife I've ever experienced. Every detail on this knife is beautifully executed, and the blue marbled carbon fiber inserts are perfect. This is a really special knife.

I'm asking
SOLD $425, which is just a little under what I paid for this Mini Tempest. I haven't carried or cut anything with it, just flipped it open and closed. It is in pristine LNIB condition.
