Serrated Military Sprint Run

Military models have always been full flat grind so that kind of rules out H1.

I don't know the numbers, but being a sprint run, we are usually paying somewhat of a premium for high end steels and scale material. After all, it isn't that H1 can't be FFG, it's just not economically feasible for large runs. Again, i don't know that the cost of ffg H1 would offset the fact that the steel wouldn't be the newest high end steel like K390, k294, etc. A boy can dream.

A store that rhymes with Country wives still have SE Miltiarys in stock AFAIK, they are at MSRP. They also have the rarest CF run in stock (S30V, single liner, old style jimping)

I well aware that H1 can be flat ground but it's not practical in a production setting. Also, let's not forget the rest of the knife would have to be made rust proof. That would entail making the liner out of titanium and also the liner lock out of titanium.

Don't get me wrong,I'd like to see a fully serrated Military again as that was what my first Military was over 10 years ago.If it were to be fully serrated, H-1 would be my choice as well but let's remember the main reason why things get discontinued (lack of sales).

What does "not practical" mean? Not possible or too expensive? I think knab was wondering how much more it would cost. I'm sure the cost would be restrictive when looking at a $50 salt knife, but maybe not on a $200+ military. And why would the rest of the knife have to be made rust proof? We aren't talking about a salt knife. We are talking about using h1 because its a great steel for serrated blades. Having a rust proof blade is a bonus. I would buy a fully serrated h1 military with normal liners in a heartbeat, but there is wisdom in your last sentence. If all spyderco did was make all the knives I want then they would probably go out of business. ;)

H1 SE and full ti military would be doable, not cheap at all and would probably cater to a small market..
