serrated vs. non-serrated

i like a partially serrated blade especially if the blade is long enough that you can still have plenty of straight edge. thanks for all the feedback
 
I dont really care for combo edges I own 1. I prefer to have a full pe and a full se on me. A se delica 4 hangs closed around my neck in a custom sheath. Then whatever pe is in my pocket. I also have a se endura 4. All my other knives are pe.
 
I find that with partial serration I am able to twist the bark of fallen saplings together like a rope, and cut with one stoke, not so with PE.

Even tho I have always been using PE, I have 2 knives that are PS, and I learn to use it within it's limitations and am fairly happy with the performance.
 
I'm a big fan of a combo edge blade in a urban environment, but when it comes to my outdoor fun I keep it plain.

I once bought on impulse a fully serrated Endura (I think it was) by Spyderco. I hated it. I found it impractical and couldn't cut anything wtih it. I eventually gave it to my mom. I wonder if she still has it?. If she does I'd be willing to trade it here.
