I think you have a point there, but... couldn't they reverse the serrations and simply turn the knife with the tip on the right side when they make the photos?

tip left is basically standard for knife photography now. we read left to right and the blade is left.

It's not just that--on fixed blades you could flip 'em but on right-handed folders you'd be seeing the pocket clip side.
