Has anyone done a performance evaluation of different kinds of serrations that manufacturers put on their knives? I would like to see how ColdSteel's serrations perform when compared to Spyder's style, cutting ability in particular. Cliff?
which described CS and benchmade serrations against a couple of plain edges.
In general every serration pattern has good and bad points. In order to get the right one you have to know the kinds of material you will be cutting and the kind of stress you will be putting on a blade.
