I have heard quite a few reports of chipping on ZDP-189 SE. How was your experience with this steel in SE?

Love the SE ZDP-189.

It cuts effortlessly.

I carry my E4 ZDP-189 SE almost every day now.

my favorite fully serrated knife is the spyderco military. flat ground with full serrations is hard to beat.

My favorite serrated blades are the Spyderco Salts – I found that serrated H1 holds an edge as well as VG10 on cardboard and I couldn’t get H1 to rust even with extended exposure to sea water and bleach.

+1 for the Spyderco Salt series. The H1 gets harder as you use it. Well-used Salts have tested in the upper RC 60's (66-68) at the edge.
