Was wondering what the current thoughts are on Chris's serrated offerings? Should be receiving a small 21 micarta with serrations today and noticed I don't see very many at all.

I have to say that I typically dislike serrations on anything but I love the look of these. Paired with the Micarta, I think it is a beautiful combination. Honestly before I looked on the "special edges" website I didn't know they were still offered!

I'll be posting pics when I receive it.

Thoughts?

It's in! Love it.

One of the few serrated blades that I like. The way they're done is that you can still sharpen it with a regular system and touch up the serrations with a rod

I was not a fan of serrations until I used CRK's version. They are done very well. From my limited research, they seem less common than CRK left handed knives. They are done in batches and don't come out that often. CRK told me that the wait time for a serrated replacement blade is 3 - 4 months. I didn't ask about a regular blade replacement turn around time so I could be wrong...

While I don't know how they work, they're certainly the nicest looking serrations, IMO.

The CRK serrations look great to me. I was thinking about getting the same knife from the site some guy(me) told you about.

What's the name of it...EdgedSpecXXXXXES or something like that.

The great thing about these serrations is that they cut from both sides. No other knife company that I know has this type of serrations. They're a $30 option.

I really want a serrated Insingo. I am going to call CRK and see if they can make one. Not only would it probably be a one of a kind but it would look WICKED!

The Sebenza's serrations are unique because they are cut alternately into both sides of the blade. My serrated, micarta inlaid Sebenza 21 is my favorite "do everything" folder. The serrations cut extremely well, and straight.

CRK serrations, whether they are the one side version like on the Green Beret, or the two sided version on the Pacific or Sebenza, sharpen easily on flat stones.

Hi carry two Regular serrated Sebenzas daily. A lg and a small. And love them. Plenty of plain edge for cutting and the serrations are great for cutting the tough stuff.

Well I missed the delivery since I was coming back from a training trip. I have to wait till Monday since it's UPS :(

I will definitely post them when received!

Crk does the only serratiins id own. I wish id have grabbed the large micarta serrated from ES a couple weeks ago for 20% off. Im still kicking myself. Youre gonna love it.

I wonder where that went? :D

Those serrations are definitely different than the way they do them these days. Beautiful knives there.

You sly dog. I grabbed a fluted TI military instead, well you got one awesome knife MrHyde.

haha- Yeah,..I like it. Intersting that it has a 2012 manufacture date.
Been thinking about getting a small too :)

Wanting it drives me nuts......Serrated Umnumzaan!!! It even makes sense in the CRK world as the Umnum is their most militarized folder, and all the military knives have serrations.

If they make it, I will buy it.

Thats odd that the date was 2012. Didnt the description say that they had just received it? Maybe im thinking of the non serrated lolished blade one they had. Hmm. Did it look new?
