Hey guys,

question: do any of you have or have you handled a serrated Strider?

I am wondering about the following: when ordering a Strider, say a BT, and requesting serrations, is the knife still going to be symmetrical? I.E., do they grind a bit of both sides of the spine or just the one side towards the other and keep the other flat?

( I hope I'm making enough sense for you to understand the above.. :))

Thanks, Christiaan.

I had a MT-SS one time and did not care for it. the "teeth" are symmetical on both sides (at least on mine)
actually they were designed (I think) for cutting rope-like things, possibly under water. They are not the best on wood, in my limited experience.
cheers,
Derek

Yes, they are symmetrical.
