Spark, glad the site is restored. Hope you are taking a rest from this turmoil and frustration right now.

Did you have a Service Level Agreement in place before this?

Have you made some modifications to it to increase the financial incentives regarding things like this happening again?

The new site looks great and is FAST :cool: :D :eek:

After 30 years of computers I've decided to sell houses!
Maybe my hair will start to grow back.
Great job in getting the systems and database's back so quickly,

Man, without BladeForums I didn't have a life!

Maybe I need to look at my priorities. :)

I find it interesting that I lost around 200 posts in the with the data loss.
I had over 4800 posts and now I have 4600 or so.
Amazing.

great job, spark! i know from personal experience how harrowing/humbling server recovery can be, and as heavy as this setup is, i can only presume that it is a proportionally larger pain in the ass than most of my experiences. glad to see things running again.
