Oh yeah, I can imagine being with 5 others (close family/friends) and using those on some HUGE rare prime rib steaks!
 
i hope to make wood steak plates also so you can have proper dining and not bang the edges up too bad. as is my lathe is only able to make plates about 9.5 inch. when i get a larger lathe i ll se about making walnut burl handle set with walnut plates
 
Excellent. As Pete H said, reckon cutting with those would be a breeze.
