Up late can't sleep so I thought I would send some eye candy to y'all.

Thanks to a couple of Usual Suspects that parted with this piece so that it is now my possession.

I know it's already showcased in the gallery, but I thought it would be nice to share some more scans.

Gotta get some sleep........

Ernie's fixed blades are very special. Look at the geometry of those grind lines.

That's a great looking piece of serious steel. It's unfortunate that modern photography doesn't do the knife justice! I'm unable to make out the logo but it appears to have the "half-moon" logo on it. Is this correct?

I must bow down and avert my eyes before such awesomeness. Oh man...I think I'm gonna hurl!

Sniper,

It has the Specwar logo. Not the half-moon. This is an awesome piece but a half-moon would have probably floored me.

I don't know why the logo didn't show up.

My wife wants a digital camera for her B-Day so I might be able to get some good pics of my toys put up. Crossing my fingers that the money fairy pays me a visit

Stupid question.

BEAUTIFUL KNIFE!

What is this "Usual Suspects? deal?

Is that knife still made.

(I am more of a handgun guy BTW. That is why I am ignorant of the bladed side.)

The people referred to as Usual Suspects consist of an informal group of forum members who share an interest in Emerson Knives and frequent the Emerson Forum to discuss just about any and every aspect of this topic.

The Phaser was a custom offering that is no longer made by Ernie. It was one of many great fixed blade designs that he discontinued. That is not to say that at some point in the future Ernie may decide to make a few but it is unlikely.
